Transfer does not arrive on time
SEPA Credit: normally takes 1 business day. Transfers are not processed on weekends or public holidays.
SEPA Instant: usually settles within seconds, but if the recipient’s bank does not support Instant, the payment is automatically downgraded to SEPA Credit.
Incorrect recipient details
An invalid IBAN or mismatched recipient name can cause the payment to be rejected.
In such cases, the funds are returned to your wallet automatically. The return may take up to 3 business days.
Payment rejected for compliance reasons
Transfers may be blocked if the recipient or destination country falls under EU, UN, or OFAC sanctions or via different reasons.
In some cases, we may request supporting documents (e.g., an invoice or contract) before releasing the funds.
Payment stuck in “Processing”
A payment can remain in processing longer if it is undergoing an additional compliance or risk review.
Reviews usually take from a few minutes up to one business day.
Unexpected fees deducted
Blackcat does not charge hidden fees for SEPA transfers.
However, the recipient’s bank may apply incoming fees or currency conversion charges, which reduce the final credited amount.
