Transfer does not arrive on time

  • SEPA Credit: normally takes 1 business day. Transfers are not processed on weekends or public holidays.

  • SEPA Instant: usually settles within seconds, but if the recipient’s bank does not support Instant, the payment is automatically downgraded to SEPA Credit.


Incorrect recipient details

  • An invalid IBAN or mismatched recipient name can cause the payment to be rejected.

  • In such cases, the funds are returned to your wallet automatically. The return may take up to 3 business days.


Payment rejected for compliance reasons

  • Transfers may be blocked if the recipient or destination country falls under EU, UN, or OFAC sanctions or via different reasons.

  • In some cases, we may request supporting documents (e.g., an invoice or contract) before releasing the funds.


Payment stuck in “Processing”

  • A payment can remain in processing longer if it is undergoing an additional compliance or risk review.

  • Reviews usually take from a few minutes up to one business day.


Unexpected fees deducted

  • Blackcat does not charge hidden fees for SEPA transfers.

  • However, the recipient’s bank may apply incoming fees or currency conversion charges, which reduce the final credited amount.
