Send & Receive SEPA

Wallets and IBANs

In Blackcat, every wallet comes with its own unique IBAN if it is a euro wallet.

  • When you choose a wallet for a transfer, the app will automatically show the IBAN tied to it.

  • This IBAN must be used for incoming transfers, and it will also appear as the sender’s details when you make outgoing payments.

  • If you select a crypto wallet instead, you will see the relevant blockchain address rather than an IBAN.

This design ensures that all transfers are strictly tied to a particular wallet.

Receiving SEPA Transfers

  1. Go to your chosen euro wallet.

  2. Open the wallet details to find its dedicated IBAN and the account holder name.

  3. Share these details with the sender.

  4. Incoming transfers will be credited to that specific wallet once received.

⚠️ Always check that you provide the IBAN from the correct wallet. Using the wrong details may cause delays or failed transfers.

Sending SEPA Transfers

  1. Choose the wallet you want to send money from.

    • This determines which IBAN will be shown as the origin of the transfer.

  2. Tap Send → SEPA Transfer.

  3. Enter the recipient’s IBAN and name (both fields are mandatory in SEPA).

  4. Confirm the transfer with your PIN or biometrics.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Each wallet has its own transaction history. Be sure to check the right wallet when tracking incoming or outgoing payments.

  • For SEPA Instant, both banks must support the scheme; otherwise, the transfer will automatically fall back to a regular SEPA Credit Transfer.

  • Transfers can only be made in euro. Sending in other currencies is not supported.
