The Send and Receive features let you move crypto between your Blackcat wallets and external wallets or other Blackcat users.
Each wallet in the app corresponds to a single blockchain address for one currency on one network. This means every time you send or receive, you must carefully check the right wallet, currency, and network.
All operations are powered by our partner Manerio UAB, which provides exchange and custodial services.
Receiving Cryptocurrency
How to Receive
Open the app and go to the Wallets section.
Select the wallet for the cryptocurrency you want to receive.
Tap Receive.
Copy the wallet address or share the QR code with the sender.
Important Notes
Always check the network (e.g., BTC, ETH ERC20, USDT TRC20). Sending to the wrong blockchain will result in a permanent loss of funds.
Some networks require multiple confirmations before funds appear: typically 6 confirmations are required.
There is no minimum amount for receiving set by Blackcat or Manerio. Any transfer that meets blockchain rules will be accepted.
Sending Cryptocurrency
Internal Transfers (to another Blackcat user)
Open the app, go to Wallets, and select the crypto wallet you want to send from.
Tap Send and choose Internal transfer.
Enter the recipient’s phone number (only available to verified Blackcat users).
Enter the amount and confirm with PIN or biometrics.
The transfer is instant and free of charge.
External Transfers (to wallets outside Blackcat)
Open the app, go to Wallets, and select the crypto wallet you want to send from.
Tap Send and choose External transfer.
Enter or scan the destination address.
Input the transfer amount.
Review the details carefully and confirm with PIN or biometrics.
Warnings
Double-check the address: external transfers cannot be canceled or reversed.
Check with the receiving service/wallet how many confirmations are required before funds are credited.
If the transfer is sent to the wrong address, it cannot be recovered.
Common Issues
Pending confirmation: If you see a pending incoming transfer, you must confirm it in the app (enter sender details and press Accept).
Push notification not received: Check your phone’s internet connection and notification settings. You can also re-trigger the confirmation in the app.
Transfer not credited: Ensure that the receiving service’s confirmation threshold has been met. Each exchange or wallet may require different numbers of confirmations.
Canceled operation: A canceled send/receive does not count towards your daily limits.
