ATM Withdrawals
You can withdraw cash at any ATM that accepts Mastercard. Look for the Mastercard logo on the machine.
Daily limit: up to €5,000.
Monthly limit: up to €10,000.
These limits apply per account, not per card. If you hold several cards linked to the same account, they all share the same withdrawal limits.
Fees may apply depending on the region, currency, and your tariff. Detailed fees are published in your app and on our website.
Foreign currency withdrawals are converted at the official Mastercard rate, plus a 3% margin (except for SEK, CZK, PLN, BGN, RON, where no margin is applied).
If an ATM declines your transaction:
Check that your available balance covers the amount and fees.
Reduce the withdrawal sum, as some ATMs have their own per-transaction caps.
Try a different ATM that supports Mastercard.
Blocked withdrawal attempts (for example, when funds were on hold) are still counted toward your daily and monthly limits.
POS Purchases
Blackcat cards can be used worldwide wherever Mastercard is accepted — at retail stores, restaurants, hotels, and service providers.
Transactions in foreign currencies are converted at the Mastercard rate, with the 3% margin (except SEK, CZK, PLN, BGN, RON).
Daily and monthly spending limits can be adjusted in the app.
Some merchants do not provide full transaction details; in such cases, your statement may show only the merchant’s payment processor information.
Online Purchases
You can use your card for e-commerce purchases across sites that accept Mastercard.
All cards are automatically enrolled in 3D Secure. This is an extra security layer requiring confirmation for most online transactions.
During checkout, you will typically receive a push notification in your app. Open it, confirm the transaction, and authorize with your PIN or biometrics.
If you don’t have internet at the moment of purchase, the push won’t arrive. Reconnect and use the “Resend” option on the checkout page.
If you don’t have the Blackcat app installed, you will receive a one-time password (OTP) by SMS instead.
Some online stores do not request 3D Secure confirmation due to their internal policies. In such cases, your purchase may be processed without additional verification.
3D Secure
3D Secure is mandatory and cannot be disabled. It is a key safeguard against unauthorized use of your card online.
Purchases over €500 always require confirmation.
If your phone number is temporarily blocked for security reasons, you may need to wait before requesting a new OTP.
For additional troubleshooting (e.g., not receiving push or SMS), you can retry the payment process or check notification permissions on your phone.
