Service Overview & Access

Prev Next

The Crypto Service in the Blackcat app lets you buy, sell, send, receive, and hold digital assets alongside your euro funds. Everything is organized as wallets:

  • Euro wallets: each has its own IBAN for SEPA transfers.

  • Crypto wallets: each currency/network pair has its own blockchain address.

You always start by choosing the wallet you want to use. Buying moves funds from your euro wallet (IBAN) to the chosen crypto wallet (address). Selling moves assets back from the crypto wallet to your euro wallet. Internal and external transfers follow the same wallet-first logic.

Eligibility & Restrictions

  • Age: Crypto is available to customers 18+. (Standard Blackcat accounts open from age 16; crypto requires 18.)

  • Residency-based availability: Access is determined by your country of legal residence, not your citizenship. You don’t need to be physically present at the time of registration; it’s enough to prove lawful residence (e.g., residence permit, permanent residence card, refugee certificate).

  • Geo restrictions: The Crypto Service is not available to residents of the following countries/territories: Afghanistan, Algeria, American Samoa, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Botswana, Cambodia, China, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Russia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, The Republic of Macedonia, Trinidad and Tobago, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

  • Compliance: Additional checks may apply under our partner’s policies and applicable sanctions/regulatory rules.

Supported Currencies & Networks

The Crypto Service supports only a limited set of cryptocurrencies. Each one is tied to a specific blockchain network, and your wallet address is unique for that currency + network pair. Always double-check you’re using the correct address when sending or receiving funds.

Custody & Exchange Partner

An integrated crypto exchange and custodial crypto wallets are provided by our partner Manerio UAB. Blackcat does not act as a crypto exchange or custodian; all crypto operations are executed and safeguarded by this partner under their terms.

How It Works (Wallet-first)

  1. Choose wallet: Select the wallet you want to operate with (euro or a specific crypto wallet).

  2. Buy crypto: Euros are debited from your selected euro wallet (IBAN) and crypto is credited to the selected crypto wallet (address).

  3. Sell crypto: Crypto is debited from your chosen crypto wallet and euros are credited to your euro wallet.

  4. Receive funds:

    • SEPA to euro: Share the IBAN of the euro wallet you intend to fund.

    • Crypto: Share the address of the exact crypto wallet (currency + network) you want to receive to.

  5. Send funds:

    • SEPA from euro: Send out from the euro wallet’s IBAN.

    • Crypto: Send out from the selected crypto wallet to an external address or another Blackcat user (internal crypto transfer).

Rates, Networks & Confirmations

  • Rates: Charts in the app are indicative. The execution rate is fixed on the confirmation screen at the moment you approve the operation.

  • Networks: Each crypto wallet is tied to a specific network (e.g., USDT on ERC20 or TRC20). Always double-check you’re using the correct wallet/address for the network you intend to use.

  • Confirmations: Incoming crypto transfers require network confirmations (typical minimum is six; exact requirements can vary by asset and receiving venue).
