What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is an easy, secure and private way to pay — in-store, online and even in your favourite apps. Now available with your Blackcat card on your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac.

How to add a card?

Apple Pay is here and available on all your Apple devices. To get started, open Apple Wallet on your iPhone or Apple Watch, or select Wallet & Apple Pay in System Preferences on your iPad or Mac. Now you’re just a few taps away from using Apple Pay with your Blackcat card.

How to make a payment?

In-store

With iPhone, double-click the side button, authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, then hold your device near the reader to pay.

With Apple Watch, just double-click the side button, then hold your device near the reader to finish your purchase.

Online or in-app

When purchasing online or in-app, tap the  button, confirm your billing and shipping information, then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.

Is it safe and secure?

Yes. Apple Pay uses the security features built into your Apple device to help keep your purchases private and secure. All transactions require Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, and a double click on your Apple Watch. These features are designed so only you can make purchases with Apple Pay. Your actual card number is never stored on your device or Apple servers. And when you pay, your card number is never shared by Apple with merchants, keeping these details hidden and offering an additional level of protection against fraud.

Am I eligible to use it?

This feature is available to residents of Poland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and Malta.

On how many devices I can add a card?

Up to 10 devices per FPAN as per Apple recommendation.

How many cards can I add to a single device?

Depends on device capacity — usually up to 10–12 cards.

Will I see transactions on my phone?

Yes. After making the purchase you will receive a push notification, and you can find all transaction history in the ‘History’ section of the Blackcat app’s main screen.

Why do I see 'Done' on iPhone when the terminal says declined?

The 'Done' means the token was sent successfully. The decline came from Blackcat, not Apple. Please, contact Blackcat support to get it checked.

Will I get a notification for declined transactions?

Yes. You will receive information through a trusted channel such as the Blackcat app’s push notification.

Does removing a card from iPhone affect the card on Apple Watch?

No. Each device has its own DPAN; removal doesn’t affect others.

Does unpairing an Apple Watch remove the card on Watch?

Yes. All Wallet passes are deleted when the Watch is unpaired.
